Find real world solutions to real world problems. Direct in my approach to answers and questions. “

Are there any special achievements or qualifications that enhance your contribution to your practice areas?

I have served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Charleston location of the United States Attorney’s Office where I litigated cases before the U.S. District court judges and juries. In addition, I’ve worked as an assistant solicitor in the Charleston County Solicitor’s Office, and I was recently appointed by Charleston City Council as a municipal judge.

In general, would you say that you are highly devoted to your career?

Yes! In fact, in my spare time I routinely seek to further my legal knowledge related to my practices areas by reviewing case law.

In My Spare Time

  • Reading, exercising, volunteering, politics and working with my hands.
  • I also enjoy making time for laughter and I’m always up for a good joke.
I really enjoyed working with Amy. She was recommended to me by another client and I definitely see why. Once I had her on my side, I felt so confident in her skill and trusted her wholly. She helped resolve my case peacefully and professionally, and I am so grateful for her help. I highly recommend her services. Thank you again Amy!

GaffneyLewis, like a number of law firms, has enacted full-time remote operations in an effort to reduce rates of transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

Although we will not be physically present in our offices, we have confirmed our remote access tools and our business continuity procedures are in place to ensure our business operations remain fully functional. It is our goal to maintain business operations as usual in a way that protects our staff, clients and visitors. We would like to assure you that every member of our team continues to work diligently to maintain the level of service that we strive to provide every day.

We will be communicating remotely by phone and email. Please continue to contact any of our team members by phone or email as usual. Phone calls are still being received during office hours and answered by a member of our team. You may continue to use the contact form on this page to send us an email. You may still schedule consultations and mediations via email or phone.
